Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a part of SSC's Board of Directors since 2011 she was one of the original co-artistic directors for Speech of Fire. While Artistic Director of SSC she also served as the costume and set designer for the production, as well as music director, composer and coach for text. In her final year she worked as a lighting designer and director for the production of SSC's King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble, however in previous year, she directed her debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. Other roles include an array of game show appearances. In her early years her family lived in Walnut Creek with her siblings and poet Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School was where she took classes and played soccer. Following a short stint at Pomona College, she graduated from Lewis & Clark College. Personally, Post was previously engaged to Stephen Knox. The couple has been together from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, an actor and writer with whom she has two daughters. Post is a wonderful actress, ideal spouse and mother, as well as she is a role model to many Hollywood celebrities.
